Victorian Agri Business Bioscience Centre, La Trobe University, Bundoora Victoria. Citius was engaged to provide Development Management services for the design and delivery of the Victorian Agri Biosciences Centre at La Trobe University R&D Park, Bundoora, Victoria. The centre was a new facility completed in late 2005 at a total project cost of approximately $25 million. The new facility was developed to accommodate a group of interacting public and private sector research groups. The facility housed Agriculture Victoria (Department of Primary Industry), La Trobe University, Florigene Ltd and Genescan Australia. The development of the R&D Park assisted in the establishment of strong collaborations with the business and research laboratories that located on the Park. These groups included the Victorian Environmental Protection Authority, Rio Tinto (Advanced Technology Laboratories), the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute's Biotechnology Laboratories and the Victoria Police Forensic Services Centre.
